Roamed

How do humans remember?

§ 01 — Why it matters

Travel is one of the most memory-dense things a person does, and one of the most quickly forgotten. Photos preserve surfaces. They don't preserve the texture of being there — the smell of the street, the conversation, the feeling of arrival. Memory is identity over time. What we lose, we stop becoming.

§ 02 — Current expression

Roamed · Active

Roamed is a memory layer built for travel. Capture is lightweight; the structure does the remembering. The product is a probe for a larger question about how lived experience compounds.

§ 03 — Timeline
  • 2024First version shipped.
  • 2025Active development. Real users, real trips.
  • 2026Expanding the memory model beyond travel.
§ 04 — Notes
  • Ongoing

Memory isn't storage. It's reconstruction. The product has to respect that.
